Indelirium records starts working with UK's reformed YORKSHIRE RATS

A bit late with this news from Indelirium records...

We’re super excited to announce that Indelirium Records will be working with Yorkshire Rats from the UK! These guys are a high energy punk rock band with socially infused anthems that will be stuck in your head forever!!!
They are recently reformed and released a brand new 3-song single titled "Hurry Up And Wait..." on August, the 5th 2014. With a mix of thundering drums, motown-esk bass lines and a wall of guitars, they can make the misery of modern life sound warm, and almost celebratory.

Listen here to the single's title track

About the band:

Yorkshire Rats are a high energy punk / rock n roll band from the north of England, their songs are infused with social issues and points of view of life in the UK. They blast out tales of frustration and woe and this band can make most depressing of struggles seem almost superficial. A cocktail of thundering drums, motown-esk bass, a wall of guitars and socially charged lyrics. What else could you need?”

I originally formed the rats with my good pal Sean Brewin back in 2004. Our ambitions were pretty low in all honesty, the main goal was to make some noise and drink some beer. You can see why it seemed weird to us when after a couple of years of bashing out songs we were opening for punk icons Rancid in front of a few thousand crazies! We had a record in the pipeline but the band disbanded after a number of line up changes started to take a toll… Fast forward 5 years, we thought we’d have another go. We got 2 old buddies in, Kurt and Ryan, the most badass rhythm section around!!! Unfortunately it wasn’t going to work out for Brewins. Shame to let all that work go to waste though. So now you know why you’ve got me wailing… We’re back on it with a fresh lineup. We’ll be putting out new music in 2014 and a new record in 2015, stay tuned !!! - Don
